{"id":1032601,"date":"2026-03-18T23:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-03-18T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"trans-27405-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infoans.news\/en\/trans-27405-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy \u2013 At Don Bosco Ranchibile in Palermo, a week to reflect on the meaning of life: \u201cVocation as a gift\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>(ANS &ndash; Palermo) &ndash;<\/strong> The traditional Vocational Week took place from 9 to 13 March 2026 at the Don Bosco Ranchibile Salesian Institute in Palermo, a well-established event that continues to represent a powerful and significant moment in the community&rsquo;s educational and pastoral journey. For five days, around 950 pupils from lower and upper secondary school and over 200 young people from the oratory&rsquo;s formation groups were guided through an intensive programme of reflection, prayer and discussion on the theme of vocation, understood not only as a choice of consecrated life, but as a full and conscious response to God&rsquo;s call in one&rsquo;s own existence. The event was led by a qualified and motivated team, coordinated by the middle school animator, Fr Alfredo Calderoni, and comprising the Salesians Fr Emanuele Geraci, Fr Vito Mangano, Fr Sim&atilde;o Congo, Fr Marco Piana, the Daughter of Mary Help of Christians Sr Carmen Rapisarda, and the Sisters of Bell&rsquo;Amore Sr Silvia Doddis and Sr Diva.&nbsp;The days were structured around a rich and comprehensive educational programme: from the traditional Salesian &ldquo;good morning&rdquo; greeting, to formative sessions in individual classes, right through to times dedicated to the oratory groups.
