On this day, a large group of students from the boys&rsquo; residence in Rome was welcomed by the girls&rsquo; college in L&rsquo;Aquila. After a welcome breakfast and a brief introduction by Sister Loredana, who runs the college alongside her fellow sisters, the students guided their guests on a tour of the modern building which reopened a few years ago following the tragic earthquake of 2009. The tour continued through a game, with a quiz challenge on Salesian history and the cities where the two colleges are located. The group then took a sightseeing tour of the historic centre of L&rsquo;Aquila and, upon reaching the Basilica of Collemaggio, listened to Fr Sergio recount the history of the city and of Pope Celestine V, whose church has been restored to new life following the earthquake.
