In the municipality of Raxruh&aacute;, located in northern Guatemala, there is a Don Bosco vocational school, aimed primarily at students of Mayan origin. The students speak Q\u02bceqchi\u02bc as their mother tongue and Spanish as a second language. The school offers training in construction, electrical engineering, agriculture, baking, IT, welding and carpentry. Recently, the past pupil group from the Eastern United States and Canada, known as the &ldquo;Salesian Old Boys&rdquo;, donated over $15,000 to the Don Bosco school through their Gene Mylan Fund.&nbsp;In 2025, the group had also donated equipment for the school&rsquo;s electrical engineering workshop.
