(ANS – Iauaretê) –<\/strong> On Thursday 2 April, the community of Iauaretê-AM experienced a special moment of faith and youth commitment with the installation of the new leadership of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM). The celebration took place during Holy Mass, a significant moment that recalls Christ’s service, dedication and love, also inspiring the mission of the young people embarking on this new journey. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Raimundo Marcelo, Delegate for Youth Ministry of the Salesian Province of Manaus, Brazil (BMA), together with the Rector and Parish Priest, Fr Wellington Abreu. In an atmosphere of profound spirituality, the young people were called to take on, with generosity and responsibility, the mission of animating the local SYM, strengthening the experience of the Salesian charism amongst the young people of the community. The new coordination team is committed for a two-year term, with the mission of giving impetus to youth activities, promoting participation and encouraging the active involvement of young people, in the light of the Gospel and the spirit of Don Bosco. In Iauaretê, this commitment takes on an even more concrete form: indigenous young people, starting from their own reality, are called to be protagonists of the mission, bearing witness to the faith and building bridges between culture, the Church and young people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
