The morning will be graced by the presence of the General Councillor of the Congregation, Fr Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, the Salesian Provincial of Southern Italy, Fr Gianpaolo Roma, the Rector of Don Bosco in Naples, Fr Fabio Bellino, and numerous Salesians from across Southern Italy, Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro.<\/p>\n
The programme will begin at 10.30 am with the “paths of regeneration”, a guided tour through the main renovated areas: the chapel, the murals, the teaching kitchen and the vocational formation centre, and the oratory. In each of these spaces, the Don Bosco youth leaders will accompany the participants, explaining the structural work carried out whilst sharing stories of human and spiritual renewal.<\/p>\n
At 11.30 am, in the centre’s courtyard, there will be the performance “A Dream in the Courtyard”, staged by the young people of Don Bosco, alongside the musical produced by the young people of Cisternino, a tangible sign of the vitality, creativity and educational journey that characterise the Salesian community.<\/p>\n
At the end of the performance, the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place, carried out jointly by a representative of the project management, a Salesian, an educator and a young person from the oratory: a highly significant gesture, designed to represent the unity and shared responsibility of all the components that bring the Don Bosco community to life and keep it active.<\/p>\n
The day will conclude at 1.00 pm with the celebration of Mass, the culminating moment to entrust to God the new premises, the people who inhabit them and the educational journey that will continue to unfold within them, in an atmosphere of gratitude and shared hope.<\/p>\n
The young people, educators and Salesians of Don Bosco in Naples invite the whole community to join in this event with joy, which marks not only the opening of the refurbished spaces, but also the renewal of an educational mission at the service of young people and the local area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
