This recognition comes at a historic time for the Salesian institute, which is celebrating its first 100 years of activity. As it begins its second century, PJB continues to strengthen its role as a benchmark of academic excellence, Christian and technical formation, and environmental commitment in Medell&iacute;n and throughout the Department of Antioquia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Community Celebration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was attended by a representative delegation of the Salesian community, led by the institute&rsquo;s leadership and School Government. They were joined by administrative staff, families of students, and teachers who have dedicated much of their lives to educating young people in the spirit of Don Bosco.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Words of Recognition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;We are extremely proud to confer this distinction in the Gold Grade upon PJB for its 100 years of educational service. This recognition is due to its institutional journey in fostering the integral formation of many citizens who have contributed to our city, department, and country. We thank the Salesian Institute &lsquo;Pedro Justo Berr&iacute;o&rsquo; for positively transforming the lives of many families and communities in Medell&iacute;n, Antioquia, and Colombia,&rdquo; said Councilor Santiago Perdomo Montoya.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Mission Confirmed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For the centenary Salesian institute, this recognition not only celebrates a century of history but also affirms its mission of forming &ldquo;good Christians and honest citizens.&rdquo; The awarding of the Order of Merit &ldquo;Don Juan del Corral,&rdquo; Gold Grade, stands as a testament to the impact the school has had on thousands of families in Antioquia, establishing itself as an institution that, even after one hundred years, continues to renew and guide from the heart of Medell&iacute;n.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Milestone for the Future<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>April 23, 2026, will remain a milestone in the history of the Salesian Institute &ldquo;Pedro Justo Berr&iacute;o,&rdquo;
