(ANS – Córdoba) – <\/strong>As part of the “Catechesis Tuesdays: The Art of Being and Doing Catechesis” series, the first Catechesis Discussion Group “BEING” was held, a space for reflection, listening and encounter for catechists and pastoral workers of the Salesian Province of Argentina North (ARN). The meeting was moderated by Salesian Brother Lucas Mautino, Delegate for Youth Ministry; Fr Miguel Mestre, a Salesian priest, Provincial Councillor and Rector of the Salesian House in Rodeo del Medio; and Bibiana Pinti, Director General of the Salesian House in Las Heras. They shared reflections on spirituality, Salesian identity and the charismatic choices that underpin the educational and pastoral project of the communities. During the discussion, the focus was on the ‘BEING’ of the catechist, recognising that catechesis arises not only from action, but above all from an identity and a vocation. One of the most significant moments of the meeting was marked by the reflection shared by Bibiana Pinti. This space allowed participants to return to the heart of the evangelising mission: to accompany through presence, witness and listening. The series of meetings will continue with two new sessions: on 30 June, “The catechist’s knowledge”, and on 25 August, “The catechist’s skills”.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
