(ANS – Kraków) –<\/strong> The priestly ordination of two young Salesian deacons, Aleksander Ficek and Damian Sukta, was celebrated on 23 May 2026 at the Salesian Church of St Stanislaus Kostka in D\u0119bniki. Krakow. The celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Stanis\u0142aw Budzik, Metropolitan Archbishop of Lublin. In attendance, alongside the parents, relatives and friends of the new priests, were many young people, various Salesians from the PLS province, and other members of the Salesian Family. In the spirit of Don Bosco, the Salesians wish to be close to young people: to converse with them, support them, help them find meaning in life, and show that the Church is not just walls, but above all relationships, joy and community. It is also symbolic that the ordination took place on the very anniversary of the arrest of the Salesians from D\u0119bniki who are to be beatified on 6 June. It is a beautiful “reminder” that faith, courage and goodness leave a mark on future generations. Soon, Fr Damian will begin his ministry in \u015awi\u0119toch\u0142owice and Fr Aleksander in O\u015bwi\u0119cim.<\/p>\n
