The volunteers, accompanied by the Salesians, visited the nine parishes of the Jab\u0142onka deanery (Orawa region) and two other parishes; at the end of the Holy Masses, it was possible to purchase various souvenirs from mission countries and make a donation, which this year will be allocated to the renovation and extension of a nursery school in the Central African Republic – one of the poorest countries in Africa, torn apart by war for years and consequently facing political instability, extreme poverty and dire conditions regarding healthcare, education and infrastructure.
