{"id":1037492,"date":"2026-06-18T22:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-18T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","slug":"trans-28412-1","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/infoans.news\/en\/trans-28412-1\/","title":{"rendered":"Italy \u2013 The Salesian Youth Sports Associations of Sicily plan for the future: the Regional Council meets in Modica"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>(ANS &ndash; Modica) &ndash;<\/strong> On 13 and 14 June 2026, the Regional Council of the Salesian Youth Sports Associations of Sicily met at the &lsquo;an Domenico Savio Salesian Youth Centre Oratory in Modica for an important session of review, discussion and planning of the movement&rsquo;s future activities. During the proceedings, which began with an address by the President, the Council approved the minutes of the previous meeting and devoted considerable time to reviewing activities relating to the 2025\/2026 sporting year, analysing the results achieved and the statistical data from the season just concluded. Particular attention was paid to planning for the 2026\/2027 sporting year. The Council addressed issues relating to the formation of sports officials, the organisation of activities and sporting regulations, the refereeing sector, the planning of the 2027 finals and regional events, as well as the finalisation of the general calendar of activities. Among the items discussed was the approval of membership fees for the new sporting season. One of the most significant moments of the Council meeting was the visit to the house of Servant of God Nino Baglieri in Modica, a place steeped in spirituality and Christian witness.
