The occasion marked not only the start of a celebration, but also a moment of reflection on the institution&rsquo;s extraordinary journey and its enduring commitment to the Salesian educational philosophy. The celebrations began with a Mass at the Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima, presided over by Fr Clive Telles, INP Provincial. The Rector, Fr Kinley D&rsquo;Cruz, then addressed the gathering, reflecting on the college&rsquo;s journey from its humble beginnings to becoming one of Goa&rsquo;s most respected centres of higher education. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp then symbolised the institution&rsquo;s unwavering pursuit of knowledge, wisdom and service. One of the highlights of the opening programme was the unveiling of the official commemorative logo for the Silver Jubilee, which represents the institution&rsquo;s legacy and aspirations. This was followed by a nostalgic audiovisual presentation that took the audience on a journey through the key milestones, memories and achievements that have shaped Don Bosco College over the past quarter of a century. In conclusion, the Silver Jubilee represents both a celebration of the institution&rsquo;s rich heritage and a reaffirmation of its vision for the future.
