A honraria foi entregue pelo Cardeal Filipe Neri Ferr&atilde;o, presidente da CCBI, que lhe ofereceu um xale e um exemplar da edi&ccedil;&atilde;o atualizada do Diret&oacute;rio Catequ&eacute;tico Nacional, cuja elabora&ccedil;&atilde;o contou com o P. Choondal como coordenador principal da Comiss&atilde;o Editorial. A homenagem ocorreu no contexto da Assembleia Sinodal Nacional da CCBI, realizada de 1&ordm; a 3 de maio. O evento contou com a presen&ccedil;a dos Bispos Dom George Palliparambil e Dom Nirmol Gomes; do P. Maria Charles, do pr&oacute;prio P. Gilbert Choondal e da Ir. Arokia Mary FMA. O P.
