Ląd nad Wartą, Poland – December 2025 – A Congress of Young People and Salesian Cooperators (ASC) was held from 27 to 29 December 2025, organised by the Youth Ministry Sectorof the Province of Piła in collaboration with the Provincial Council of the ASC. The meeting is part of the 2025/2026 formation year, on the theme “Enlivened by Faith,” aimed at valuing the contribution of the laity in the mission of the Salesian Family. The event also celebrated the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the ASC and the guidelines of the Salesian Youth Synod (2024). The Congress offered a space for prayer, dialogue, community discernment, and reflection on the role of the ASC in the Church and in society. Participants explored their knowledge of the journey of Salesian lay people, the spirituality of St John Bosco, and the ASC Project of Apostolic Life, working in thematic groups and sharing concrete experiences. The formation program was supported by the Working Doument, a guiding document for discernment and discussion on the contribution of the laity in the Salesian Family. The Congress concluded with the presentation of the final document, the fruit of the participants’ work and approved collegially, which represents a concrete contribution to the growth and development of the ASC in the province. The meeting offered young people the opportunity to make their voices heard by actively participating in the construction of the ASC mission in the Salesian Family.
