Irinjalakuda, India – December 2025 – After nearly three decades, the iconic COUNTDOWN rock concert of the Past Pupils of Don Bosco Irinjalakuda returned on December 21, 2025, transforming the campus into a vibrant celebration of music, nostalgia, and social commitment. More than a reunion, the event serves as the public expression of the alumni’s Share & Care Project, which provides ongoing educational assistance to students from disadvantaged families through alumni contributions and event proceeds. Organized under the leadership of Adv. Ratheesh Bharathan with program direction by Fr. Bastin Nellissery, SDB, the evening was described by Fr. Emmanuel Vattakunnel, SDB, as a “concert with conscience,” promoting values and antiโdrug awareness. The night honored distinguished music alumni, featured an interโinstitutional rock competition won by Don Bosco Music Academy, Kochi, and concluded with spirited performances that affirmed the enduring legacy of Don Bosco rock.
