Lubumbashi, DR Congo – December 2025 – From December 26 to 30, the Salesian Youth Movement of the Central Africa Province (AFC), through the TUJENGE platform, organized a formation session in Lubumbashi for young playground leaders. The meeting involved about 300 participants from different dioceses: Lubumbashi, Kolwezi, Sakania-Kipushi, and Kilwa-Kasenga. The formation was divided into six thematic workshops: conferences, catechesis-singing-theatre, large and small games, refereeing, and crafts. The young leaders were able to update their skills, acquire new techniques, and develop creativity and inventiveness for their educational and recreational service. Former leaders also participated in the initiative, offering their experience, and the significant presence of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA) accompanied the journey. The formation was comprehensive, combining educational and spiritual moments. Formators and participants concluded the session enriched with new experiences and tools for educational and pastoral service in the Salesian mission.
