Lubumbashi, RD Congo – January 2025 – The Salesian Family of the Central Africa Province, Southern Zone, gathered on January 4, 2026, at the Youth Centre of Lubumbashi for a spiritual and fraternal meeting centered on the Rector Major’s Strenna 2026. The reflection was led by Sr. Michaël, FMA, who presented the theme, “Do whatever He tells you,” inspired by the biblical account of the Wedding at Cana (Jn 2:1–11), inviting participants to listen attentively to God’s Word and live it concretely in the Salesian mission. The gathering also included New Year greetings from the Provincial leaders, Fr. Guillermo Basañes, SDB, and Sr. Clarisse Ngoy, FMA, and concluded with the celebration of the Eucharist and a moment of fraternal sharing, strengthening the bonds of communion and family spirit among the various branches of the Salesian Family, together with the parents of Salesian confreres.
