Manouba, Tunisia – January 2026 – A Day of Peace was organised for students at the Ibn El Jazzar (Notre Dame de Carthage) school in Manouba on 9 January. Spreading the concept of peace among children is not a luxury but an educational necessity. For the team at the Ibn El Jazzar school, the goal is clear: to transform abstract concepts into everyday actions. Learning tolerance, empathy, and non-violent conflict resolution allows children to build a healthy school environment and, in the long term, to become responsible and peaceful citizens, because the citizens of tomorrow are being formed today. Thanks to the full involvement of the school staff, the students participated in creative and symbolic performances: theatre, singing, music… to express brotherhood and the importance of dialogue.
