Canada – Promise of three new Salesian Cooperators
Montréal, Canada – January 2026 – The promise of three new Salesian Cooperators from the Sainte Claire Center was celebrated on Sunday 11 January at the diocesan parish of St Francis of Assisi. The Eucharist was presided over by Fr Éric Amahoumi, parish priest of the community, and concelebrated by Fr Richard Authier, SDB, delegate of the local Mary Help of Christians Center in Montréal, and Fr Pierre Celestin Ona Zue, SDB, from Sherbrooke. Present were the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians from the Savio community in Montreal and two sisters from the St Joseph community in Toronto, including Sister Alphonsine Roy, local delegate of the Sainte Claire Center. Also participating were the Salesian Cooperators from the two centers in Montreal, an aspirant from Sherbrooke (originally from Cameroon), a VDB, members of ADMA, former students of the FMA, staff from the nursery run by the FMA, family members, young people, and friends, for a total of about 80 people.
