Krakow, Poland – January 2026 – The Novena to Don Bosco began on Thursday 22 January 2026, accompanying many consecrated and lay members of the Salesian Family on their spiritual journey towards the Feast of St John Bosco (31 January). This will also take place in Poland, online, in the spirit of faith that animates life. For nine days, participants will immerse themselves in the moving stories of the Salesian martyrs who will soon be declared blessed (6 June 2026 in Krakow): Fr Jan Świerc, Fr Ignacy Antonowicz, Fr Ignacy Dobiasz, Fr Karol Golda, Fr Franciszek Harazim, Fr Ludwik Mroczek, Fr Włodzimierz Szembek, Fr Kazimierz Wojciechowski and Fr Franciszek Miśka. ‘Their courage, their youth and their fidelity to the end are capable of awakening what is deepest in us.
