(ANS – Odxel) – Salesian Family Day 2026 was celebrated on 8 February at the Provincial House, Odxel, bringing together 130 members of the Salesian Family—Fathers, Sisters, Salesian Cooperators, ADMA members, Past Pupils, young people, and families—in a vibrant expression of communion and shared mission. The programme began with a colourful procession of unit coordinators carrying banners, followed by a prayer service led by Sr. Hilda Braganza and the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Salesian Family delegates. The Eucharistic Celebration, presided over by Fr. Anisio Mota, highlighted the day as he called members to be “salt and light” in the lives of the young. The Vice Provincial of Panjim, Fr. Banzelao Teixeira, reflected on the Strenna 2026 theme, “Do Whatever He Tells You – Believers, Free to Serve,” encouraging renewed commitment to faith-filled service. The celebration concluded with moments of sharing, fellowship, and the introduction of the newly appointed Provincial Council members, marking a joyful and forward-looking gathering.
