Myanmar – Three-Day Seminar Emphasizes Leadership, Management and Communication

Through a series of conferences, Eucharistic celebrations, and daily good-night talks, Fr. Fidel invited participants to deepen their understanding of leadership as a service rooted in the Salesian charism. His inputs focused on credibility and effectiveness in governance, the importance of mutual trust and shared responsibility, and the need for ongoing formation and authentic fraternal relationships within communities.

Group discussions enabled participants to identify areas requiring growth, including overcoming closed attitudes and subtle individualism, while fostering a more collaborative and mission-oriented spirit. They recognized the importance of establishing clear guidelines, ensuring regular evaluation of annual action plans, and continually updating their knowledge, skills, and attitudes through structured formation.

At the close of the seminar, Provincial Fr. Bosco Nyi Nyi expressed heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Fidel for his fraternal presence and timely guidance, particularly during a challenging period for the province. For his part, Fr. Fidel conveyed his contentment at having been able to accompany the confreres, offering clarity and practical insights on the principles of leadership, governance, and communication for mission. He encouraged them to translate these reflections into concrete action, strengthening unity and effectiveness in serving young people with renewed conviction and hope.
