(ANS – Recife) – On 11 April 2026, the Salesian Province of St Aloysius Gonzaga in Recife Brail (BRE) hosted an important meeting of the Provincial Mission Animation Team, bringing its members together for a full day of study, reflection and development of the Provincial Mission Animation Project. The meeting began with a time of spirituality and prayer, followed by a reading and in-depth examination of the Salesian Educative and Pastoral Plan which guided all the reflections of the day. Building on this foundation, the group focused on studying the mission context of the province, as well as analysing the contemporary challenges of evangelisation and pastoral priorities. In an atmosphere of fraternal dialogue and shared responsibility, the participants shared their experiences and contributed to the collective development of the proposals that will form the Mission Animation Project. The entire process sought to remain faithful to the Salesian charism and in line with the guidelines of the Salesian Educative and Pastoral Plan, thereby strengthening the mission identity of the BRE province. The meeting was characterised by intense participation and a strong commitment to the evangelising mission, resulting in progress in the systematisation of important guidelines for the next stages of the project’s development.
