This initiative is the result of collaboration between the Youth Ministry and Missions Sectors, reflecting a shared commitment to the integral care of young volunteers.

The formation is addressed to directors of SMV programs, who play a key role in accompanying and safeguarding volunteers throughout their missionary experience but is open to anyone is involved or interested in the subject.

Participants will hear from Antonella Sinagoga, psychologist and member of the Congregational Youth Ministry Sector, who will offer practical insights into the psychological challenges faced during mission and ways to foster resilience and healthy relationships.

The sessions will also provide space for sharing experiences and mutual learning among participants.

Two sessions are available:

–         18 May, 10:00–11:30 (Italian time) – in English

–         19 May, 18:00–19:30 (Italian time) – in Spanish

Directors are encouraged to participate, recognizing that caring for mental wellbeing is essential for sustainable and meaningful volunteer service.
