Argentina – The Regional Salesian Museum reopens its doors to the community
(ANS – Rawson) – A people’s memory is built upon the stories, objects, testimonies and experiences handed down from generation to generation. With this conviction, the Don Bosco Salesian House in Rawson celebrated the reopening of the Regional Salesian Museum, a space that preserves and shares an important part of the region’s historical, cultural and educational heritage. Following a period of reorganisation and enhancement, the museum reopens its doors to welcome students, families, institutions and visitors who wish to engage with, learn about and rediscover the richness of local and Salesian history. This space aims to continue as a place for reconnecting with one’s roots, promoting knowledge, reflection and appreciation of the journey undertaken by the many people who have contributed to building the community. The reopening also marks a new phase of work and new prospects. Marcos Garraza is now joining Cintia Navas in the work she has been carrying out for some time, overseeing the conservation, organisation and dissemination of the museum’s heritage. Together, they will manage the day-to-day running of this space, strengthening the initiatives aimed at the educational community and the general public. The Museum will be open from Monday to Friday, from 10.00 to 14.00, with free admission.
