The central focus of the issue is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Association of Salesian Cooperators, explored through four studies that trace its identity, its origins in the thought of Don Bosco, its arrival in Spain, its vocational dimension as a path to holiness, and the evolution of its name following the Second Vatican Council. Taken together, these articles offer a comprehensive overview of this lay vocation and its historical contribution to the Salesian charism.

The magazine also includes the testimony of Vicente Morillo Soriano, a living example of quiet self-sacrifice and service, and an extensive obituary section commemorating the Salesians of Don Bosco and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians who have recently passed away, keeping alive our gratitude for their educational and spiritual legacy.

Other notable content includes a profile of Salesian writer Rodolfo Fierro, two significant Marian events – the elevation to the status of Minor Basilica of the Salesian parish church of Mary Help of Christians in Atocha Madrid and the canonical coronation of the statue of Our Lady Help of Christians in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria – as well as news from the international ACSSA, statistics on the Congregation and the introduction of the new World Coordinator of the Salesian Cooperators, Spaniard Borja Pérez.

The issue concludes with a unique cultural feature: a Salesian perspective on Santiago de Compostela, the result of the popularising work of the Salesian Eugenio González.

Overall, this issue aptly represents the mission of ACSSA: to preserve memory, shed light on the present and strengthen Salesian identity through historical research and rigorous dissemination.
