(ANS – Kraków) – The Salesian Young Leaders’ School (SAS) and the Liturgical Ceremony Course for young people from the Kraków Province (PLS) were held from 27 June to 1 July 2026. It was a period marked by intensive formation, prayer and community building. The first day featured an organisational meeting, a religious service and leisure activities. The second day began with morning prayer together and the entrusting of the whole day to God. The SAS participants visited the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, attended a talk and took part in group sessions. The highlight of the day was Holy Mass in St Mary’s Basilica. There was also time for rest, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and a peaceful, joyful evening spent playing football and watching a film under the stars. The third day of the SAS was packed with activities, new experiences and collective learning. It began with Holy Mass, followed by various modules: psychology, Salesian spirituality, liturgy, first aid and the creation of educational games. The participants spent time acquiring knowledge and skills that will prove useful in their ministry as youth leaders. The day ended with communal Vespers and a peaceful evening of team-building games. The fourth and final day of the SAS offered another dose of formation, practical skills and moments of sharing. The day began, as on previous days, with Holy Mass, followed by sessions on Salesian spirituality and psychology. There was also time for practical workshops: creating balloon figures and games using the activity cloth. Furthermore, participants in their second year of formation sat an exam, putting the skills they had acquired so far to the test. In the evening, everyone took part in a barbecue, group games, chats and a football match. In short, every day of the SAS demonstrated that an Animator is someone who constantly strives to improve themselves in order to serve others even better. (Source: PLS Facebook)
