(ANS – Puebla) – A meeting of the Local Salesian Cooperators “Laura Vicuña”, “Don Bosco”, “Juventus”, “John Paul II” Centres and the new group of aspirants in formation from the Parish of the Assumption took place in Puebla, Mexico on 30 May. As part of the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of the Association of Salesian Cooperators, the participants gathered to share a day of faith, fraternity and joy. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr Daniel Hernández López, SDB, and was attended by the Provincial Delegate, Sr Refugio Colín, FMA. Members of the Salesian Family belonging to ADMA, the VDB and the Damas Salesianas also accompanied this significant gathering, thus strengthening the bonds of communion and belonging to the Salesian charism. During the day, the Provincial Coordinator, Omar Espinosa, encouraged the Local Centres to continue their evangelising and apostolic work in their respective communities, inviting them to be a living witness to the Salesian charism and to show young people that the Association of Salesian Cooperators is a concrete path to discovering and living out their vocation in the service of the Church and youth.
