India – Province of Guwahati holds Administrators’ Meeting on Stewardship and Financial Accountability

(ANS – Guwahati) – The Province of Guwahati held its annual Administrators’ Meeting on 20 June 2026, bringing together priests, brothers and lay accountants to strengthen stewardship and financial accountability in the service of the mission. Fr Jayaprakash Anthonimuttu, Provincial Economer, highlighted the growing importance of digital financial management, urging participants to become proficient in ACME and BoscoSoft ERP systems to ensure efficiency, accuracy and transparency. The Provincial Fr Sebastian Kuricheal, reminded those present that administration is not merely management but a ministry of responsible stewardship of the Congregation’s resources. Sessions also addressed legal compliance in land management and the importance of proper documentation, while the Province’s auditor emphasised careful record‑keeping and adherence to FCRA regulations. The meeting concluded with practical training sessions, equipping participants with essential tools for effective financial governance.
