Shillong, India – January 2026 – The Salesian Province of St. John Paul II, Shillong, has been blessed with the priestly ordination of three Salesians: Fr. Sagar Bandhu Molsom, SDB, ordained on 3 January 2025 at Depacherra, Tripura, by Most Rev. Lumen Monteiro, CSC, Bishop of Agartala; Fr. Kandulna Joseph, SDB, ordained on 14 January 2026 at Missaari, Assam, by Most Rev. Michael Akasius Toppo, SJ, DD, Bishop of Tezpur; and Fr. Reniel Banshanskem Synrem, SDB, ordained on 17 January 2026 at Shillong, Meghalaya, by Most Rev. Victor Lyngdoh, Archbishop of Shillong. These ordinations mark a moment of gratitude and joy for the Province, strengthening its mission of serving the Church, especially the young, in the Salesian spirit.
