Sri Lanka – DBIT students participate in a training programme on time management and goal setting

Sri Lanka – January 2026 – Students from Don Bosco Infotech (DBIT) in Kilinochchi and Jaffna participated in a training programme on time management and goal setting on 22 January. For young people coming from a war-torn background, imagining a structured and achievable future often poses significant challenges. DBIT organised a targeted intervention to help students develop a stronger sense of purpose, planning and personal responsibility. The highly impactful online module was conducted by professional consultants from Niraivagam – Don Bosco Institute of Psychological Services in Chennai, part of the Salesian Province of Chennai. The sessions were impeccably coordinated on the ground by the local DBIT team in Sri Lanka, ensuring smooth participation and contextual relevance. The hybrid collaboration effectively bridged geographical distances, bringing specialist expertise from the centre to the periphery.
