(ANS – Mumbai) – Students of the Computer Engineering Department of Don Bosco Institute of Technology (DBIT), Kurla, secured second place at the Youth Development for Climate Tech (YDCT) Global Summit 2026 with their project EcoLens. The team—Anusha Gupta, Hemal Bhirud, and Om Mahale—received a $2,000 cash award and ranked among the top nine teams worldwide. EcoLens addresses climate challenges through technological innovation. The students have been invited to present their project at a forthcoming global summit in Singapore, with travel and accommodation sponsored by the organisers. Mentored by Dr. Dipti Jadhav, the team’s achievement highlights DBIT’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and global engagement.
