(ANS – Mumbai) – On 23 June, a meeting was held at the Don Bosco Provincial House in Matunga, Mumbai, bringing together provincial leaders, Rectors, Directors, Council members and Salesian confreres from across the Mumbai India Province. The event, which took place in an atmosphere of gratitude, planning and commitment, was also attended by the INB Provincial, Fr Ashley Miranda, who highlighted the vibrant missionary spirit that animates the province. During the day, important updates on various key projects were shared and a range of topics were discussed. One session was dedicated to finances and resource management, whilst another featured an interactive workshop on psycho-sexual integration in formation. Through reflection, group discussions and case studies, participants explored ways to create healthier, safer and more supportive environments for young people in formation. Among the highlights of the event was the opening of the BOSCOM office for South Asia, which took place in the presence of the General Councillor for Social Communication, Fr Fidel Orendain. In the closing session, those present were invited to reflect on other topics such as relationships, spirituality and emotions, as well as current issues like the use of Artificial Intelligence. The meeting concluded on an optimistic note and with a commitment to strengthening community life, with eyes already set on the next Provincial Chapter.
