Panjim, India – January 2026 – Youth Ministry Delegates from the Salesian Province of Panjim-Konkan gathered at Don Bosco, Fatorda, on 16 January to examine the current state of youth ministry in the Province and to draw up a coordinated pastoral plan for the year 2026-2027. The meeting brought together representatives from most of the Salesian communities in the Province, demonstrating a strong collective commitment to youth-centred pastoral work. The session began with the Vice-Provincial, Fr Banzelao Teixeira, presenting the Rector Major’s Strenna 2026 from a youth ministry perspective, setting a reflective and mission-oriented tone for the deliberations. One of the main objectives of the meeting was to clarify the processes and structures that guide youth ministry in the Provincial context. In this regard, the Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Ralin De Souza, presented a comprehensive working document outlining how youth ministry initiatives are organised and animated throughout the province.
