(ANS – Silchar) – The Annual Principals’ Meet of the Don Bosco Group of Schools of the Shillong Province was held from 12 to 14 February 2026 at Don Bosco School, Silchar, Assam, with around 30 principals participating alongside the Provincial, Fr John Zoisama, and his Council. Coordinated by Fr Babu Stephen, Delegate for Education and Culture, the meeting focused on strengthening educational leadership and collaboration. The Provincial presented the Strenna 2026 of the Rector Major, setting the spiritual direction for the gathering. Sessions included presentations of best practices from various schools, discussions on administration and standardization, and deliberations on financial accountability, legal matters, and educational policies. An animation session on effective school leadership and inputs on emerging educational technologies enriched the programme. The final day addressed practical administrative concerns, including EPF, safety measures, ERP systems, and school management issues. The meeting concluded with a summary by the Provincial, reaffirming unity and commitment to the Salesian educational mission.
