ANS – Mumbai) – Don Bosco Avsar, Matunga, organized a two-day career orientation seminar on the effective use of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare at the Holy Family Nursing Institute in Kurla on February 23–24, 2026. The initiative is part of Don Bosco Avsar’s ongoing commitment to preparing students for a rapidly evolving job market. More than 300 nursing trainees and faculty members participated in the sessions, led by AI experts Prof. Kanchan Taksale and Prof. Seema Viswakarma. The speakers offered practical insights into how AI can enhance efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in healthcare, while reinforcing the irreplaceable role of human care. Participants were encouraged to view technology as an enabler rather than a threat. The seminar highlighted the growing role of AI in patient monitoring, medication safety, clinical documentation, and mental health support, while reaffirming the central role of nurses in building trust, exercising ethical judgment, demonstrating emotional intelligence, and providing compassionate care—qualities no technology can replicate.
