(ANS – Kochi) – George’s journey from personal tragedy to academic achievement stands as a powerful testimony to resilience and hope nurtured at Don Bosco Sneha Bhavan. Having lost his mother earlier, he entered Sneha Bhavan during Class 10 as his father, a rickshaw driver, struggled to support his education. Tragedy struck again in Class 11 when his father developed severe heart complications, and George spent six months caring for him in hospital before his passing. Despite losing half a year of schooling, George persevered and successfully completed his examinations. Determined to build a future in healthcare, he set his sights on pursuing nursing studies in Germany. With sustained support from the Sneha Bhavan community, he diligently prepared and achieved B2-level proficiency in German. George will now travel to Germany to begin his nursing studies at the IBAF Pflege-Schulungszentrum on scholarship. His story reflects the transformative impact of resilience, education, and a caring Salesian community.
