The day was dedicated to assessing progress made since the previous meeting, updating and refining current processes, and aligning the work of each productive entity with the Salesian mission.
During the meeting, participants shared analyses, experiences and challenges related to sustainability, innovation and continuous improvement. Through collaborative work, common challenges were identified and strategies proposed to optimise processes, diversify services and respond to current demands.
As part of the proceedings, several visits were made to various Salesian works in the city to gain a first-hand understanding of their impact. One of the most significant moments was the tour of the Guayaquil Salesian Project and its key centres, where it was highlighted how the resources generated by the various Salesian productive activities contribute to sustaining educational processes and social support for children – particularly the most vulnerable and those in need.
In addition, the participants also visited the Creaciones Don Bosco uniform shop, where they learnt about its production capacity and its social contribution, particularly in generating employment for single mothers or widows in vulnerable situations.
Another stop was the recently refurbished LNS bookshop in Guayaquil. Here, the improvements implemented to enhance customer service and the customer experience were presented, in line with a vision of continuous development and customer focus.
The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue strengthening management, improving productivity and generating greater resources to support and enhance the priority works of the Salesian mission.
