(ANS – Jalpaiguri) – Don Bosco School Oodlabari hosted one of North Bengal’s largest inter-school youth gatherings as Bosco Fizza returned for its third edition, filling the campus with colour, rhythm and youthful enthusiasm from dawn to dusk. The festival brought together 20 schools from across the plains and hills, stretching from Islampur in Uttar Dinajpur to Jaigaon on the Bhutan border, including Kalimpong and Darjeeling. A record 1,403 students competed in 23 events conducted simultaneously across 20 venues, marking a milestone in the regional youth calendar. Outdoor competitions featured basketball, volleyball and football for both boys and girls, drawing spirited participation. Indoor events included chess, debate, quiz, drawing, painting, music, dance, poetry and the popular Battle of Bands. Creative competitions in photography, short films, start-up ideas and science exhibitions added academic depth. The innovative “Trash to Treasure” showcase highlighted environmental awareness and ingenuity. The festival celebrated talent, teamwork and healthy competition. Bosco Fizza 2026 reaffirmed Don Bosco Oodlabari’s role as a vibrant hub for youth engagement in North Bengal.
