Silugiri, India – January 2026 – The Salesian Family of North Bengal gathered at Salesian College, Siliguri, on 23 January 2026 to celebrate Salesian Family Day 2026, with over 70 participants taking part. The programme centered on the Strenna 2026, “Do whatever he tells you – Believers, free to serve,” and brought together Salesians, religious sisters, Salesian Cooperators, and members from North Bengal, Sikkim, and Bihar. Marking the 150th anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators, participants engaged in group reflections highlighting listening, sensitivity, spiritual discernment, and service to the young. The celebration concluded with a solemn Eucharist at the college chapel, followed by an agape lunch, while a similar Salesian Family Day was held in Kolkata at Nitika Don Bosco with about 100 participants.
