The podcast was created as a space for peaceful and timely conversation, where Salesian priests from the CSFPA address the central themes of the Strenna 2026 from a pastoral, spiritual and cultural perspective. Each episode offers a contextualised reading that illuminates the daily life of educational communities, young people and pastoral workers, helping them to live their faith with joy, responsibility and freedom.
The aim of the podcast is clear: to offer a Salesian reading of the Strenna 2026 that integrates spirituality, pastoral care and culture, thus accompanying the educational and evangelising mission of the Salesian Family in America. It is not just a matter of commenting on a text, but of translating its richness into concrete ideas for formative action and community discernment.
The 2026 season will feature 12 episodes, one for each month of the year, lasting about 10 minutes each. This short and dynamic format seeks to adapt to today’s rhythms, allowing rectors, teachers, religious, lay people and young people to listen to it easily in the course of their daily activities.
Each episode is structured as a moment of deep but accessible reflection, in which the pastoral experience of the Salesians enters into dialogue with the current challenges of education and evangelisation. The familiar tone makes the podcast a resource for formation, designed for both personal listening and community work.
With this initiative, the CSFPA and ADB reinforce their commitment to ongoing formation that integrates charismatic tradition and digital culture, expanding spaces for encounter and reflection on the continent. The first episode opens a path that, month after month, will invite us to live the Strenna 2026 not only as a slogan but as a concrete experience of faith committed to the service of young people.
