(ANS) – The Salesian Family in Central America experienced a meaningful day of encounter, communion and spiritual renewal, gathering online to celebrate the Days of Spirituality of the Salesian Family. During the event, Fr René Santos, Vice-Provincial of the Central American Province (CAM) and head of the Salesian Family, presented the evolution of the Salesian Family Commission into the current Consultation of the Salesian Family of Central America, highlighting this process as a sign of maturity and the strengthening of regional coordination. Fr Julio Navarro, CAM Provincial, explored the implications of the 29th General Chapter of the Salesian Congregation for the shared mission of the Salesian Family. Similarly, Fr David Panezo shared his experience of the 2026 Salesian Family Spirituality Days, highlighting some of the lessons learnt and significant moments from this space of spirituality and communion. The day also included a time of dialogue in small groups inspired by Lectio Divina, to foster reflection and pastoral commitment towards young people, in fidelity to the charism of St John Bosco.
