(ANS – Duaca) – At the Domingo Savio Youth Centre in Duaca, Mariela Peña, Marielys Castro and Darwin Salas made their official promises as new Salesian Cooperators. Under the motto: “To be signs and bearers of God’s love for young people”, the new members formally committed themselves to living out their lay vocation in the service of young people, following the charism of Don Bosco. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by the Provincial of the Salesians of Venezuela, Fr Rafael Montenegro, SDB, and was concelebrated by Salesians Frs Jorge Bastidas and David Marín, who actively accompanied the rite of the promise.
