With this idea in mind, the St Artemides Zatti Province of Argentina North (ARN), through the joint work of the Social Communication and Youth Ministry delegations, has launched the ‘Sin tantas vueltas’ (Without beating about the bush) project This is a series of conferences, broadcast live and then archived as podcasts, designed to reflect on the message that the Rector Major proposes for this year 2026: ‘Do whatever he tells you. Believers, free to serve’.
The project, which has already begun and with the first three episodes already available on YouTube and Spotify, stems from a certainty experienced among the Salesian communities of ARN, that the best conversations do not arise from a script but from encounters in the corridor, from shared mate, from that question that continues to resonate after a meeting.
‘Without beating around bush’ therefore aims to offer a space of loyalty, above all, without grand staging or clichés. The intention is to reflect together, with the simplicity of playground chats, on what Jesus says to the Salesian Family today. To this end, the podcast integrates the various resources of youth ministry, offering a broad and diversified view through six main areas, each developed in an episode:
Episode 1: An approach to the Strenna
Episode 2: An educational look at the Strenna
Episode 3: The Strenna from a vocational point of view
Episode 4: An approach starting from communication
Episode 5: What does the Strenna say to the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM)?
Episode 6: A reflection in the light of the Bible and the Catechism.
ARN’s proposal of ‘Sin tantas vueltas’ continues its journey with live broadcasts every Thursday at 11:00 (UTC-3) on the YouTube channel @salesianosarn. For those who wish to catch up on topics already covered, the material is available at the following official links on YouTube and Spotify.
