RMG – The 5th Edition of the School for Province Youth Ministry Delegates is set to begin

Coordinated by Fr Rafael Bejarano Rivera, General Councillor for Youth Ministry, with the support of regional representatives and various experts, the School aims to offer a comprehensive programme for deepening the spiritual and pastoral heritage of the Congregation. The formation programme will focus in particular on the Framework for Youth Ministry and on the educational and pastoral processes developed in different contexts, fostering a shared vision and greater synergy among the Provinces.

Launched in 2016 by Fr Fabio Attard, the then General Councillor for Youth Ministry, the School was established in response to the Delegates’ desire to be supported in carrying out their ministry in the province with greater awareness and competence.

In his welcome message, Fr Rafael Bejarano expressed words of great trust and hope: “It is a joy to welcome you to Rome, the heart of the Congregation, as a living expression of the richness and diversity of the Salesian world. You are called to be animators of communion and prophecy in your Provinces. My hope is that this experience will strengthen in each of you a passion for young people, especially the poorest, and help you to build pastoral processes that are ever more integrated, courageous and faithful to the charism of Don Bosco. Let us walk together, with boldness and creativity, so that every young person may encounter Christ and discover the beauty of their own life’s journey.”

The shared hope is that this fifth edition will help to strengthen the educational and pastoral commitment of the Provinces throughout the world, promoting a Youth Ministry that is ever more coordinated, missionary and rooted in the Preventive System, in fidelity to the mission received from God through Don Bosco.
