Lisbon, Portugal – January 2026 – The Portuguese publishing house ‘Salesianos Editora’ has published ‘João Bosco, o Mestre dos Sonhos’ (John Bosco, the Master of Dreams), a manga-style comic book that brings Don Bosco’s most memorable dreams to life. The six stories, rich in symbols and adventures, show how his dreams guided his educational mission. It is recalled how dreams were not mere fantasies, but fundamental spiritual experiences through which the ‘Father and Teacher of Youth’ formed good Christians and honest citizens. The illustrations, created by Vietnamese Salesians, make the Salesian message accessible to young people. The publication of this work is part of the celebrations of Don Bosco, whose memory is celebrated on 31 January.
