Italy – Social Communication, annual meeting of the national office in Mestre

Venice-Mestre, Italy – January 2026 – From 23 to 25 January, the annual meeting of the Social Communication Office was held at the Salesian house in Venice-Mestre, attended by provincial representatives, national coordinator Fr Elio Cesari and other members of the office. The first part of the meeting was dedicated to formation, led by Prof. Massimiliano Moschin, lecturer at IUSVE, on the communication plan for Salesian Italy. Divided into groups, the participants were able to take part in a workshop on the editorial planning tool. The first part ended with a visit to Cube Radio, the web radio station for IUSVE communication students, with the university’s director of institutional communication, Prof. Marco Sanavio, who showed the tools and functioning of this space for young people. The rest of the meeting focused on reviewing the first part of the year and the brand book for the national logo, as well as planning and scheduling for the coming year. The final part of the meeting was dedicated to sharing the report on the discernment circle of the Redesign of Salesian Italy that the office carried out in December. The Emmaus study centre produced a document that was shared and reread together by all the members of the office.
