(ANS – Seville) – Seville became the epicentre of Salesian communication in Spain on 12 and 13 February. With the motto ‘Communicate well, communicate life’, nearly a hundred delegates and communication representatives from various Salesian houses gathered to share experiences, update tools and draw up the Congregation’s strategic road map. After more than a decade of uninterrupted activity since 2014, this twelfth edition strengthened the sense of networking among those responsible for communication in educational centres, social platforms, youth centres and social organisations. The event stood out for its practical and strategic nature, offering technical formation in key areas such as streaming, social network management, audio editing and visual design. Fr Javier Valiente, National Delegate for Communication, gave a very positive assessment of the event. ‘Seeing almost a hundred people working together enthusiastically to improve our presence is the best indicator that communication is, today more than ever, something that runs across our entire mission. We seek not only to inform, but also to transmit the life that pulsates in our houses and to connect with young people where they are.’
