(ANS – Rome) – Promote volleyball as an educational, inclusive and accessible experience, capable of fostering participation and the growth of the entire sport. With this objective in mind, the Salesian Youth Sports Associations (PGS) and the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV) have signed an agreement that marks the start of a collaborative process aimed at systematically promoting and coordinating the practice of the sport across Italy, in the belief that dialogue between the two organisations represents a key driver for the overall development of the Italian volleyball system. In addition to the joint promotion of events and initiatives, the agreement aims to strengthen synergies between their respective regional structures, pooling expertise, experience and project planning to develop a structured and ongoing collaboration across various areas of mutual interest. The president of PGS, Ciro Bisogno, stated: “Through this agreement, we are bringing together FIPAV’s organisational and technical excellence with PGS’s educational, associative and local assets. It is a meeting of different yet deeply complementary experiences, which can generate new opportunities for our local communities and, above all, for young people.” The president of the Italian Volleyball Federation, Giuseppe Manfredi, added: “We share the same vision of sport as a tool for growth, inclusion and formation of the younger generations. The synergy between our organisations will enable us to further enhance the wealth of clubs, coaches and managers who work with passion in local communities every day. By working together, we will be able to offer greater opportunities to young people, encourage ever-wider participation in sport and make a tangible contribution to the development of the entire Italian volleyball movement.”
