(ANS – Milan) – At the international showcase of the Salone del Mobile in Milan, students from the carpentry department of the St Dominico Savio Institute in Arese, part of the Salesian Province of Italy-Lombardy-Emilia (ILE), brought much more than just a product: they presented “Italian Rationalism”, a concrete expression of their creativity and expertise. The result of a collaboration with the Brianza Design Formation project, their work illustrates what happens when school, business and passion truly come together. The visit by the Minister of Education, Giuseppe Valditara, was a significant sign: a recognition that vocational formation is a place where young people discover their talents, dignity and future. As Don Bosco once said: “Education is a matter of the heart”. And today, that heart has taken shape in wood.
