Each volume has been developed according to the age group and pedagogical reality of each stage, ensuring appropriate language, contextualised proposals and fidelity to the Salesian charism. At the same time, they all maintain the unity of the proposal: to promote an integral education that combines reason, religion and loving kindness, with the aim of forming ‘good Christians and upright citizens’.
More than a collection of texts, these e-books are a true pedagogical and pastoral journey that guides the daily life of schools, youth centres, and other Salesian works. They create a privileged space for listening, spirituality, coexistence, and human formation, contributing to the construction of an educational environment characterised by the presence, joy, and care of each person.
Inspired by Don Bosco’s tradition of the ‘Goodnight,’ the e-books update this practice to today’s different educational contexts. In particular, they offer pedagogical guidelines, reflections, prayers, activity suggestions, and biblical texts that help educators carefully prepare for this initial moment, fostering a climate of interiority, respect, listening, and openness to the transcendent.
The goal is simple and profound: to help children, adolescents, young people and educators begin the day more aware, serene, and connected with the meaning of life and mission.
By placing Welcome at the centre of daily life, the RSB reaffirms that educating does not only mean transmitting content, but also caring for people, reawakening values, strengthening bonds, and proclaiming the gospel in real life.
The e-books are already available for digital access and can be used by all Salesian presences as an essential support for organising daily moments of prayer, reflection and coexistence.
